Splashing sounds were made by the demons' feet as they went about their daily lives under the rain, something they had slowly but surely come to be used to since the appearance of the sun.

That's right, the demon realm had never experienced rain since the demise of Solariel as the sun had dissipated alongside him and hence the red skies had come to be.

"Lord Licht." A voice he had come to be familiar with since his stay at the inn broke Solon out of his reverie.

Turning around, his gaze landed on the male vampire that had served him the poisoned meal for breakfast a few days ago.

Standing at 5 feet and 11 inches of height with pale skin and short combed back brown hair, his green eyes could not be seen as he stared down at his own feet, avoiding eye contact with Solon.

"What is the matter?" the Demon King asked, his hands hidden behind his back.
