"Why didn't you tell me that you were fucking expelled?" She didn't know his voice could drop an octave lower. The way his eyes narrowed at her, teeth clenched and hands balled into a fist, stopping himself from choking her, because she knew he enjoyed doing it, made her thighs clench.

Fuck. He was very hot.

"Hastings. Did you hear anything I just said?" Kayla blinked and nodded, slowly. Oliver stepped inside the condo, scrutinizing Kayla.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, the anger still palpable but she heard the concern in his tone. "I'm fine. I have evidence to prove that I am innocent so you don't have to worry nor did you have to come all the way here."

"Stubborn raccoon." he patted her head and she swatted his hand away. "Have you eaten, Hastings?"
