Bab 340: Valentina's sneak attack

"You ready?" Valentina glared at Ben as she put her hands up in a grappling pose, her eyes dangerous and merciless, like an amazon preparing to strike a killing blow.

"One sec." Ben reached down with one hand and shifted hit shnutsack.

The fabric had gotten caught…forcing Ben to make a list minute audible to adjust the team's positioning.

Half a minute later…

*Cough* "Ok I'm ready." He nodded at Valentina, his gaze filled with respect for a fellow warrior.

The corner of her eyes couldn't help twitching. 'Why does this bastard always make everything ridiculous?'

Even so, she was ready to punish him physically for each and every perceived slight. So from there, the two squared off, their muscles becoming tense in preparation for the upcoming battle.
