Bab 171: Wait

Leaving the Wang’s Residence with a heavy heart. He drove around the city for hours until he wondered all the way to the church where he had taken Wang Yi-An that night. He stood there looking at the painted window ceiling high. The church just had a mass, after mass it became quiet. Silent with no one around.

Yang Tian-Xu stood tall, looking straight at the place where they had once stood. Her words replay in his mind again.

“Two years…” Why did she think two years would be enough for him to decide? Is it because she’s giving him time to handle everything before running away with her? Yet, she still went on ahead and became Liu Shun-Feng’s fiancée. Was she just trying to humour him? Was she really planning to come back here after two years?

Yang Tian-Xu couldn’t understand her action. Just as she had promised to meet him at the church after two years. Yet, she had spent the night with Liu Shun-Feng.
