Bab 827: Chapter 67- Addie – Ursool Part 23 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

When I pulled my hands away to inspect the spell, I was pleasantly surprised. There was nothing left. No mark. No scar. Nothing at all. And it didn't appear that Varel was in pain any longer. 

"How does that feel?" I asked him as I looked into his eyes. Or I tried to. Varel's eyes were glued to his arm, and where the mark used to be. All he saw was a faint reddish outline of my hand from when I held on to him. It was already beginning to fade, and soon he would be completely unmarked. 

"Y…y…you did it." When he looked up, there were once again tears streaming from his eyes, but the look on his face was one of immense relief. He was free, which he never thought was possible. And now he could choose what he wanted to do with his life. He never had to be forced to obey ever again.
