Tia was walking up the stairs when she saw Emelda standing at the end of the staircase watching her. When she reached her side and was about to go to her room, Emelda remarked.

''Men like Kai are like birds in the sky. They enjoy their freedom and won't be tied down by a woman with a child. I don't know how you managed to get pregnant for him, but I don't buy it.''

Tia laughed and turned to face Emelda. ''Emelda, this is my relationship. Whether you buy it or not, I don't care. Instead of trying to find faults with my relationship, why don't you use that time to revive your dying modeling career?''

Tia folded her arms and mocked. ''I heard that at a certain age, your gigs reduce in the modeling industry. You are almost thirty, you should work hard on your career, or maybe, you can consider changing careers. If you want recommendations, I would be glad to offer.''
