Bab 102: Chapter 102 Guilty

"She fell asleep crying?" Vincent muttered, a pang of guilt coursing through him.

"She didn't even eat anything other than breakfast the whole day." Lucas said, observing Vincent's guilt with a sense of satisfaction.

A tired yawn escaped Lucas's lips as he stretched his arms.

"I'm so sleepy." he announced, rising to his feet and making his way toward the house.

Vincent wanted to follow him, but Lucas stopped him, locking eyes with him, his blue orbs filled with coldness.

"You're not allowed." he said, shutting the door firmly.

Vincent stood at the door, his hand hovering in the air, about to knock, but he hesitated, looking at the closed door.

Vincent stood by the door, gazing up at the sky.

The absence of the moon and stars made the dark clouds seem even more ominous.

He had thought the rainy season was over, but the rain persisted, nothing new in this unpredictable world.
