Bab 296: A casual day in the village

"Oh, yes. You haven't seen them when you passed the road? They were there in the river, building the waterwheels."

Since their river is just in the open, it can be seen if they pass through the main road of the village. So, Claire was surprised by his question.

"Uh, I was asleep when we passed there. But isn't the snow hindering them?" Eman asked in wonder.

"Ah, so that's why… I'm sure you're very tired from the trip. About your question, I also asked them the same question. They said they have tools for that, so there's no problem. However, they said that the actual use of the waterwheels will be after the winter ends."

"Is that so? I'll see them later then."

"Okay. They'll be happy if you do that."

After Eman nodded, two of his people approached them from behind.

"My lord! Welcome back! We're going to unload the stuff in the carriage, is that fine?"

Eman nodded at them. "Yes. Place them in the storhouse."
