He also told them that they had to free her sister who was also held hostage in this palace.

He explained that their other goal was the elimination of the Titans and the men who worked for a Goddess, and then he smirked as he saw that when his men heard the word Titans and Goddess, a glimmer of excitement that they hadn't been able to hide appeared in their eyes.

And finally he told them that it was necessary to get rid of the current King because quite independently of his will, he had found himself with a mark on his chest which made him the rightful King of the humans here and it was time for him to take his responsibilities even though he didn't want to.
