Bab 96: The Purple Energy(part 1)

"Illusion; World of chaos" Mystro mutters, and instantly their surroundings begin to change.

It changes into a battleground.

On this battleground, Lugard sees a version of himself fighting off a horde of high-level intelligence monsters such as goblins and orcs.

The monsters are in millions, while Lugard and his minions are less than a thousand.

Right in front of him, his minion's heads are bitten off one by one. The ones he cared for are being killed right in front of him.

His family, friends, his wife, and his current girlfriend.

Lugard clutches his head in pain as his girlfriend whom he cares for is being eaten up by the monsters while his precious siblings are being trampled upon.

All his devoted soldiers are killed right in front of him, staining the battlefield with their blood and the remnants of their bodies.

"Aargh!!!!!!" Lugard falls to his knees and begins to weep.

"Why? Why? Couldn't I save them? Why!!!!!?"
