Bab 53: Fifty-Third

Emily awoke in the morning, squinting at the bright sun peeking in through the seams of the tent flap.

Her nose crinkled.

She sighed and rubbed at her eyes, but couldn't manage to clear her vision quite right. There were strange pink shapes hovering before her and she didn't know what to make of it. "Huh...? Who's...?"

The pink things were very distracting.

"..." A familiar feminine voice whispered from beside her bed roll with a hint of excitement tinged in it, "Geeze! You really can't see anything! Nyaaahn! What a hopeless Master I have~!"

"Mm..." She sighed and waved her hand at the floating katsith, trying to force her eyes to focus. "You're supposed to be in human form, Mia...go back in disguise..."

"...Ugh! Booooring. Fine. Fine...!" The katsith huffed and poofed into the form of Stella once more.

She puffed out her cheeks in annoyance. "You are so troublesome!"
