The news about Dave's house getting robbed and Emma getting stabbed seemed to be ringing in Dave's mind but Mateo was trying to get it off his mind and concentrate on the match.

Dave was in such good form at the moment and giving him this kind of news in the middle of the match could affect his performance not to talk about Mateo who had been wonderful to watch so far into the match.

"Spree United players and fans are not happy with that result but that was the right decision," Jim said.

"Why would you tell them something like that!" Is what the fans would be screaming by now if they knew what Dave and Mateo were going through now.
