Bab 99: Bad Situation — Unexpected

Lydia and Faust had a hard time containing the Hidden One, but there wasn't as much pressure as they expected when facing someone who was above them in level.

Their quick wits and familiarity with each other made it possible to fight the Hidden One as equals, but something told them that things couldn't be so simple.

This was because, during tens of clashes, the Hidden One had the same expression on his face, as if he didn't care whether he was pushed back or successfully hit Lydia or Faust.

Quickly exchanging a look, Lydia and Faust decided to take the game to a new level and use even more of their abilities.

'This octo guy is tougher than he looks, not to mention those disgusting tentacles behind his back.' In a way, both Lydia and Selena were quite similar as they had the same reaction when seeing the strange-looking race that seemed to be the ancestors of octopuses ordering them around.
