Bab 74: Destroying the core [2]

After Erik destroyed the core, the entire continent experienced colossal changes. The sky plunged into complete darkness, while animals and magical creatures fell prey to unbridled madness.

Life across the continent began to fade rapidly. Trees and other living things that fed directly from the core were the first to go. Tremors intensified across the continent as the seconds passed.

Natural disasters soon followed. Powerful hurricanes swept everything in their path, followed by strong storms. Humans, demons, and elves panicked as they witnessed the chaos unfolding before them. They ran aimlessly, seeking shelter from the unfolding disaster.

Within minutes, the continent cracked, and strange, distorted, never-before-seen creatures emerged from the cracks.

"What is that, why are they emerging from the earth?"

"These creatures don't seem to be from this world..."

"You fools, don't just stare at them, run!"
