Bab 369: UNLUCKY

Erika allowed Jake to spend half an hour with Adrain until it was time for them to leave. Erika stood up, holding Jake's hand as he waved Adrain goodbye but Adrain stopped them.

"Can I have a word with you please?" Adrain asked Erika who cocked an eyebrow at him but later nodded.

Erika fetched her phone and told her to come pick up Jake and in no time, she arrived and took him to the car.

"What do you want to talk about this time?" She asked as soon as Jake was already gone with Jude.

Adrain cleared his throat before he started to speak.

"I know this must have been hard on you," he started, looking at her but her expression was completely plain and so, he continued. "But I want to say thank you for bringing Jake to see me. I still can't believe that he has grown this big and he looks so much like me."

Erika didn't reply immediately and Adrain continued, feeling awkward this time.
