"Let's forget about that and not talk about them, this is our moment," he said with a grin.

"Now tell me, where do you want to go?" he asked her.

"Out of here."

Adrian chuckled. "You know that's not possible, sweety."

Erika clenched her fist under the table and just wished she could punch him right in the face but she controlled her anger. Ethan will be the one to do that, she thought to herself. Now she wondered where he could be and what he was doing and how her family was doing.

"Are you still thinking of Ethan?" asked Adrian. "You go ahead and continue to think about him but I assure you this, no matter how much you think about him, he's never going to come back to life," he added.

Erika abruptly stood up and asked, "What makes you think that Ethan is dead?! Did you kill him?!" She was getting tired of hearing him repeat the same thing about Ethan over and over again and it annoyed her.
