Bab 48: Chapter 48 – Meeting

Two out of the seven locations had been cleared and citizens of that area were saved but the ongoing chaos continued at the remaining five locations.

Warlocks and witches struggled against the slime beasts, calling for backups that were yet to arrive.

Meanwhile, Michael moaned as he chewed on the croissant that he had taken from an abandoned kiosk.

"Hmmm, that's so nice," he said, "it would have been a shame if it was wasted."

Michael looked down to admire eight more croissants that he had stashed into a bag.

He strolled around the city without caring about the current event that was going on, even though he knew that he could help a great deal.

Yet, Michael Osvenor didn't wish to offer any help beyond what he had already done.

He enjoyed his croissant and licked the taste off his fingers after he was finished before heading to his earlier intended destination...
