Bab 95: Hounded

Xander readied his scythe as the three-headed abomination snarled at him, strings of viscous white saliva dripping from its salivating mouths. Despite sensing the chaotic energy rippling through the Dream Cleaver, it showed no signs of fear.

If anything, the chance to hunt a dangerous prey only heightened the Infernal Hound's feral instincts, making it even more aggressive.

The villagers cowering inside their huts watched the terrifying confrontation from their windows, their hearts pounding in fear.

Xander held his ground as the light drizzle soaked his white shirt, leaving hundreds of scattered drops on his scythe's polished blade.

The Infernal Hound bared its fangs at the Dreamwalker and let out a fearsome growl from the pit of its stomach before lashing out at him with its serpentine tails.

As the two vipers hissed at Xander, striking him from opposite directions, he pulled out his enchanted revolver in one swift motion and riddled them with bullets.
