Bab 217: A Change of Plans

Despite Count Christopher's tendency towards entertaining women, as Desmond looked through the well taken care of township, there was little work that need to be done.

The duke saw clean, well organized streets with well-stocked food storage and buildings already winterized. Luckily, the ground didn't freeze very early considering the large body of water that kept the surrounding area's temperature more stable than in the west or north. 

Without having to ask, he was updated on the seeds for farming next year and where they had repaired the wall towards the west that had been cemented so that ice wouldn't damage in case they met that sort of climate this winter.
