When they did react, it was a mix of shouts, screams, and clapping. Facing impossible odds was precisely what they wanted to see, and Alex was ready to deliver. The young elf stared at the orc narrator, who appeared to be in shock. Behind him, a looming figure approached and whispered something in his ear. Alex could see from a distance that it was Tina's father. The older elf placed a hand on the narrator's shoulder, and the orc looked up before firmly grasping the Ore that amplified his voice.
