In a malicious voice, Vardes paced toward Ary and while grabbing his hands, he added:

"That gorgeous woman... is YOUR angel weapon..."

His voice reflected a sense of jealousy.

"Vardes~"

"Erk?!"

As expected, a cold hand landed on Vardes' right shoulder, and a familiar yet terrifying voice was heard that gave goosebumps to Vardes.

His face turned pale as he realised who it was.

While trembling due to fear, Vardes looked behind him and was left petrified.

Standing behind him was his girlfriend, Sasha, glaring at him in anger after seeing him get a craving for Almita.

"S-S-Sasha...it's not what you think."

In a wobbly voice due to fear, Vardes tried to calm Sasha, but Sasha didn't seem to hear anything he said.

She continued to smile at him and added,

"It's fine. We'll talk about it when we reach home."
