"Ary, I..."

Marinette stammered as she lowered her gaze.

"Hmm?"

Ary reacted as if he had sensed something.

He released her arms and leaned closer to her face.

"A-Ary?"

She called out after seeing him coming toward her.

She closed her eyes, thinking that he might kiss her.

However, Ary touched her forehead with his, saying,

"I think that wasn't an excuse."

"Hmm?"

Marinette reacted as she opened her eyes.

Ary retreated, and while looking at Marinette, he confided,

"I thought that you might make an excuse about your health. But it looks like I'm wrong. You do have a fever."

After heeding his words, Marinette showed a dry smile, saying,

"Why would I joke around like this?"

"...."

Ary didn't reply since he didn't feel like telling the reason.

"Rest down now."

Ary requested as he supported her lying down on the bed again and while holding her arms, he commented,

"Listen, from now to about two minutes, don't move your body at all. Got it?"

"Hmm? B-But why?"
