Bab 43: Everything Will Be Okay

Della walked gingerly after she finished leaving Austin. With eyes red from crying and a messy expression, Della knew she couldn't go back to class. Her second destination was the infirmary. Besides, since it was the results day, there wouldn't be any lessons after this. Della tried to avoid everyone while getting to the infirmary. She knocked on the door of the room three times before an older woman opened the door and showed a surprised face when she saw Della's expression. The woman hurriedly let Della in before closing the door again.

After being let in, Della immediately sat down at one end of the sickbed there. The girl covered her face with both hands as she let out a long, tired-sounding breath.

The woman knew something was wrong if Della came to the infirmary on her own accord like this. The woman sat next to Della as she tried to speak in the softest tone possible.

"Is it because of the distribution of exam results today?"
