Bab 4: First Kiss

I steal a glance at the girl, studying her features. She's still watching me with her intense red eyes, the corners of her lips twitching up in a slight smile. She seems completely at ease, as if sitting in a dumpster with a complete stranger is the most natural thing in the world.

I finally work up the courage to speak, breaking the silence. "Um, what's your name?" I ask, my voice sounding strangely loud in the confines of the dumpster.

The girl's lips twitch up into a wider smile, as if she was waiting for me to speak. "My name is Elizabeth," she says, her voice soft but clear. "What about you?"

"Takashi." I say.

"Takashi," she repeats, as if testing out the name. Her voice has a strange, almost musical quality to it. "That's a nice name."

"Cool." I say.

Elizabeth doesn't say anything else, just continues to sit there, studying me with her intense red eyes. The silence stretches out between us again, but this time, it doesn't feel as uncomfortable as before.

I find myself staring back at her, feeling drawn to her in spite of myself. There's something about her that seems almost otherworldly, like she doesn't quite fit in with the world around her. I can't help but feel like there's more to her than meets the eye.

I can see a flicker of disappointment cross Elizabeth's face as I announce my intention to leave. For a moment, it almost seems like she was hoping I'd stay. But I brush off the feeling, climbing out of the dumpster and preparing to walk away.

As I take a few steps away from the dumpster, I pause and turn back to look at Elizabeth. She's still sitting in the dumpster, watching me with those intense red eyes.

"Hey," she says, her voice soft but firm. "Don't go yet."

"What? You wanna kiss or something?" I suddenly say.

I can't help but chuckle at my own attempt at humor, expecting Elizabeth to roll her eyes or make a sarcastic comment. But to my surprise, her expression doesn't change, and she seems completely serious as she responds.

"Yeah, I do actually."

"Oh, okay." I say, as I walk right up and give her a kiss.

I lean down and plant a soft kiss on Elizabeth's lips. She responds instantly, grabbing me around the neck and pulling me closer to her. The kiss is surprisingly gentle, despite the intensity of her red eyes. For a moment, the world around us seems to disappear, and all I can focus on is the sensation of her lips against mine.

After what seems like an eternity, we finally break apart, both of us taking a step back. I can feel my heart racing, my mind reeling from the unexpected kiss. As I look at Elizabeth, I can see a faint blush on her cheeks, and I realize that she was just as affected by the moment as I was.

"K, I'm leaving." I say.

I nod, still trying to process what just happened. "Yeah...I guess I'll see you around." I say, feeling a bit dazed. With a final glance back at Elizabeth, I turn and start walking away, the taste of her lips still lingering on mine.

I continue walking, trying to process what just happened. I can't believe I just kissed a girl I met in a dumpster, and not only that, but she kissed me back. The memory of her lips against mine is still fresh in my mind, and I find myself replaying the moment over and over again.

Suddenly, a strange feeling comes over me, like all the air has been sucked out of my lungs. I stumble, feeling weak and disoriented, and suddenly I can't breathe. I collapse to the ground, feeling a strange numbness spreading through my body.

I try to cry out for help, but no sound comes out, and my vision starts to grow dark. Everything around me seems to fade away, and I can feel myself slipping away into oblivion. It's like all the energy has been drained from my body, leaving me weak and helpless on the ground.

As I lay there on the ground, feeling the life slowly draining from my body, the strange thought pops into my mind. "Is this what it feels like to die... or is this how it feels to fall in love?"

The feeling of weakness and numbness leaves me as suddenly as it came, and I find myself able to move again. I push myself up from the ground, feeling a mix of relief and confusion.

"What the hell was that..." I mutter, still trying to make sense of what just happened.

I'm still reeling from the strange experience of feeling like I was suddenly close to death, when I suddenly hear a strange noise overhead. I look up to see a bright beam of light shining down from the sky, seemingly aimed right at me.

I'm still reeling from the strange experience of feeling like I was suddenly close to death, when I suddenly hear a strange noise overhead. I look up to see a bright beam of light shining down from the sky, seemingly aimed right at me.

I follow the beam of light back to its source, and sure enough, I can see a figure standing on a distant star, looking down at me. From this distance, I can't make out any details, but I can tell that they're the one responsible for firing the beam at me.

I swing my sword with all my might, the blade slicing through the air with a whistling sound. To my surprise and amazement, the blade seems to extend far beyond its physical limitations, and I actually manage to slice the figure in half, despite the 2,500,000 light years between us.

I stare at the figure that I just sliced in half in astonishment, still trying to wrap my mind around what just happened. I don't know how I managed to pull off such a feat, especially since it's not supposed to be within my abilities as far as I know.

I stand there, stunned by the display of power I've just unleashed. I had no idea I was capable of cutting someone in half from across a distance of 2,500,000 light years, but somehow, I just did. It feels like I've unlocked a whole new level of strength that I never even knew I had.

As the adrenaline from the fight begins to wear off, I suddenly realize that I'm starving. The strange encounter and the intensity of the battle have left me feeling drained, and my stomach is growling in protest.

"I could really go for some food right now," I say aloud, my stomach rumbling as if in agreement with me. Without another thought, I start walking towards the nearest source of food, my mind now focused on satisfying my hunger.

Before I even realize it, I've reached a small convenience store, the neon sign outside advertising fresh food. I push open the door and step inside, my senses immediately assaulted by the smell of fried food and salty snacks.

I make my way to the refrigerated section, looking over the various food options. Everything looks delicious, but my stomach is calling out for something hot and filling. I settle on a ready-made fried chicken meal, the sight of the crispy golden chicken making my mouth water.

As I approach the cash register, I can feel the cashier watching me with a bored expression. I hand him the chicken meal, and without another word, he rings me up and tells me the total. I pay the fee and take my food, eager to dig in.

I find a spot nearby and sit down, tearing open the package and taking a big bite of the chicken. The taste is incredible, the juicy meat and crispy skin perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I can feel my hunger dissipating with each bite, and I devour the chicken in record time.
