Bab 16: Chapter 16
Like what happened to her Father? The man who never wanted to come as close as one meter towards her since she was a child? Here he was showing a different side, a side she had been yearning for, aside she wished never went away so she could always feel his warmth and the life of a father towards his daughter and just which involved a working relationship. With that said her Father left but not without telling her to take a day off or two so she could rest her swollen ankle. Who was this and what had he done to her father? She loved this new him and didn't want to trade him for anything else.
She got into her bedroom changed into some new clothes and tossed his clothes into the washing machine, she was going to give him the next day when they met to talk about the underlying rules of their relationship plus she had to get her lawyer involved so everything was legal with no complications.
She was laying in bed when she got a text from Hendrick asking how she was faring and she replied and then turned to sleep, truth be told she wasn't used to the kind Of bed Hendrick had so she hadn't slept at all, she just wanted to rest and off to dreamland, she went.

Hendrick on the other hand just blurted out to his mother what he and Daniella were up to and just like any other reasonable mother who didn't want her son hurt again by the rich refused to be part of the equation, he tried to make her understand and seething from his perspective and his mother knowing the kind of person he was, knew he wouldn't listen to her even if she denied supporting him, she gave her blessing beside she had already taken a likeness to Daniella, she wasn't like all these rich children who wanted the poor people or maids to be at their beck and call and for this reason, she earned a deep respect grom Hendricks mother.
He thanked his mother and went into his room to have a rest just like Daniella he had not slept an inch cause of where he slept last night his whole body ached and when he climbed off the bed the whole sheet smelled of her and she smelled so soft, so delicate like a Lilly which needed to be taken care of at all times and for some odd reason, he wanted to be her knight in shining amour. He drifted off and was only awakened by the smell of the snail sauce his mother was preparing outside, hmm, yummy that woman could kill with her spices she knew the way to a man's heart and that was one of the reasons why he was never going to trade his mother for no one or nothing on earth.
He went outside and hugged his mother from behind she served him some food and he ate to his fill.
His phone beeped with a message and he smiled when he saw the name, he was excited it was a text from Daniella which read "meet tomorrow at noon" the message was pretty simple blunt and straightforward but it still made the butterflies in his tummy flutter and that to him was unsettling cause he had never felt that way not even towards Julia whom he had been with for a year and a half now. Well, maybe just maybe, it was cause Julia was just attractive for sex he had tried all possible means to tell her off but the lady won't budge she claimed she loved him but could not help him build a bright future for themselves.
He replied to her text with an okay and continued what he was doing trying to pass time until he got to meet her again.
Daniella, read through her emails when she woke up, attended some online Conference meetings at home since she called in sick, and made appointments for her schedule for the next day with Hendrick whom she so much wanted to see for a reason she couldn't decipher.
Hendrick kept thinking of her delicate skin when she looked so beautiful he had to use the willpower in him not to grab her and take her from the have just there and then. If he had done that it would have earned him a slap he smiled cause she sure was a feisty one and he loved her feisty nature he just wished she was that feisty in bed too. Oh, what kind of thoughts were these ye didn't even realize he had gotten a boner just from thinking of her of the mere thought of her could give him such a hard-on then what happens when they start staying in the same house God, he prayed he should not mess up a good opportunity cause of his selfish sexual gratifications.
His mother called from the corridor and told him to take things easy, she had been observing him for a good ten minutes and he didn't even notice when she took the dishes from the table to wash.
She prayed within her that whatsoever these two kids were planning should be something worth it because she didn't want to lose her son again just like she had done when he was in jail he came back that time she was not sure if he went to jail again he was going to come back. The thought of him going back to jail scared her but she knew he was a great person and was going to be careful.
Mr. McBright on the other hand was very excited about the news his daughter had given him that morning and decided to have a small feast that evening with a few dignitaries of friends who shared in his happiness and wished him long life so he could see his grandchildren and great-grand children.
