Bab 35: 1v1 - (Fight Call)

The icy wind blew through the mansion's backyard, I heard the trees behind me humming while the breeze whipped through them.

Great, all that this gathering missed was some soundtrack from a thriller.

"Shift so we can communicate," Arthur suggested, almost bored. He spoke with the confidence of the strongest fighter on that battlefield.

I renewed my oath to one day surpass him.

A subtle change went through the v formation, there was no doubt that they had a mental conversation going on at the same time, all tensing except for my brother and their black Alpha. But only the white wolf choked back a whimper.

'No', I could almost hear her begging the word out.

When the black wolf shook slightly, her head snapped back where I was. 'No', she choked on another whimper. This was a request that I finally understood.

"Wait!" I stood up, "I can translate for you," I said with the confidence of a fool.
