Bab 2006: Ghost General

Outside the Bronze Sarcophagus, no one aside from Qingfeng Li had noticed the fingerprint on the casket's surface. This was one of the special things about Qingfeng Li.

Huozhu Chi glared at Qingfeng Li, his eyes cold. He hadn't expected his attack to be deflected by Qingfeng Li. Right now, he was filled with a fury he didn't know what to do with.

Huozhu Chi knew now that Qingfeng Li's combat power was no weaker than his own. Even if he forced a fight with Qingfeng Li, they would both sustain injuries. There was nothing for him to gain from that.

Qingfeng Li turned his head behind him to glare at Huozhu Chi, his eyes filled with frigid killing intent.

Before now, he had held back against Huozhu Chi because this was a planet of death with unknown dangers. This was why he didn't rush to settle the score with him. He hadn't expected Huozhu Chi to attack when his back was turned. He was really asking for it.
