Bab 1899: Battle of Saints

Standing closest to Dark Night Emperor, Qingfeng Li saw clearly that the Monarch's soul had trembled for an instant just now. It seemed that he was no match for Nine-Headed Saint Lion Avatar. After all, this was a Saint's Avatar.

Qingfeng Li stared at Dark Night Emperor before him, his eyes filled with worry. He knew that the only thing he could depend on right now was Dark Night Emperor. Once even the Monarch fell in defeat, his situation would become terribly perilous. 

Qingfeng Li furrowed his brow. "Let's go up," he suggested to Black Puppy beside him. "We can help Dark Night Emperor fight Nine-Headed Saint Lion Avatar."

Black Puppy gave him a humorless smile. "Qingfeng Li," it said, "the only way we can get between a battle of Saints would be if we could become Saints right now. Otherwise, if we go up, we'd be dead for sure."
