Finally, Cael shrugged. "Honestly, history lessons were some of my least favorite. I'm only guessing that he's from the Sun-Crowned Empire, because it was the latest one to be in this place. The parchment isn't too old. Although, the building had sunk under the ground. We could've fallen inside through the ceiling of the second floor."
Ginevra shrugged. "Maybe it was made half-underground from the start. Either way, it looks like the owners took whatever they could before leaving. I don't think we will find anything behind the other door."
Cael pressed his lips together, but then smiled. "Ah, that's fine, too. The real treasure, either way, is you! Not to say that I don't want to check other places, regardless."
In the end, Ginevra proved right. Behind the second locked door, they found only empty racks for weapons and armor. Other rooms weren't any less empty.
