Bab 98: Act I: The city of three | New grounds

The next week—this is how long the journey back to Sanremo di Mare took—Cael stepped once again under the roof of his ancestral tower.

During the journey, Cael spent the upgrades he earned from draining Enzo's blood. As usual, most of them went into his stats—although the more Cael put into them, the less progress he felt from an individual upgrade. He also, after some consideration, bought himself a new talent—Glyphs Knowledge. As the name suggested, it allowed Cael to read and write Arcani glyphs.

That knowledge was necessary if Cael wanted one day to make his own spells and magic items. And he wanted to. He had to get them from SOMEWHERE, after all.
