The next morning arrived early.

Qiaoqiao woke up particularly early.

Upon doing so, the rustling of her hair strands caused Amo to slowly open his eyes.

Still drowsy, he cast a glance at her, "Qiaoqiao, you're awake?"

"Hmm." She nestles into him, "I didn't sleep much today, you go back to sleep. Later, I'll go wake up Sisi."

Amo glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table — it was just after five in the morning.

He pulled her closer again, "I'm awake. Can't sleep now."
