Selene felt her heart skip a beat at Xavier's confession. She could tell from his slightly shaky hands that he was nervous.

She had never thought that Xavier Wallace was the kind of guy who gets nervous when he wants to confess his feelings for someone, and she was the someone. Warmth spread through her heart, touching every inch until all she could feel was the love she also had for him. 

Xavier waited for Selene to speak, but she only stared at him.
