Bab 111: PROUD OF YOU

(CLOE'S POV)

"Excuse me a reservation for Senator Barerra, please," I approached the restaurant hostess as soon as we got inside the restaurant. Senator Barerra had been my boss since I graduated. He was a senator and will be re-running for the senate in the upcoming election. 

Today we will be having a dinner party with his campaign manager. I was his assistant, but he was actually my mentor since I plan to join politics in the near future, although I still have to finish law school first. 

The hostess guided us to our table when a familiar shrill surprised me. I looked over to where it came from and saw Elsie. Beside her was Val and a cute little boy, which I presume is their son. I didn't bother to glimpse who else was on their table, and I just waved back to Elsie.
