Bab 172: The Consequences of Infuriating Third Young Master Ye (II)

Chu Wuyou looked at Meng Ruoting in quiet intensity. The latter was in her pajamas and her hair was a mess.

There was only one possibility that could explain her coming out from Ye Lanchen's room at this early hour looking like that.

Chu Wuyou's eyes twinkled with brilliance at her discovery. The two of them were an item as she had expected. 

That being said, she no longer had to worry that Ye Lanchen would foster any romantic thoughts about her. 

Initially, Meng Ruoting wanted to explain herself, for fear that her Sister-in-law might get the wrong idea. However, she hesitated after witnessing the colors that danced across Chu Wuyou's face. She was positive that her Sister-in-law had misread the situation, but the expression on the latter's face…

Ye Lanchen also noticed Chu Wuyou. He, too, feared that she would read too much into the sight of Meng Ruoting leaving his room. However, he quickly discerned the unusual light that appeared in her eyes.
