August 10, 2010 imperial calendar, the Holy Britannia Empire declared war on Japan.
Japan is a Far Eastern island country that declares its neutrality, while Britain is the largest country in the world.
The reason for their dispute was because Britannia wanted to take the rich underground resources that existed in Japan. Even though Japan is a small country, it has an important resource needed for military purposes, sakuradite stone. Japan has the largest sakuradite stone mines in the world which makes them like fat sheep for the surrounding big countries.
In handling these resources, the Japanese government has declared its neutrality on military activities and allocates sakuradite resources to other countries fairly and according to each country's capabilities. But Britannia was not satisfied with the allocation and wanted the sakuradite mines under their control. Therefore, on August 10, 2010 of the imperial calendar, Britannia declared war on Japan.
At the decisive battle on the main island, Britannia introduced a humanoid robot-shaped war weapon known as the Knightmare Frame into the battle. Their strength was unimaginable, the main line of Japanese troops was quickly destroyed by the Knightmares. After that, Japan became a territory of the British Empire.
Japan's freedom, rights, and even its name were taken away and it was changed to Area 11, which means that Japan has now become an occupied area of the Britannian empire with code 11. After capturing Japan, Britannian troops continued to colonize the surrounding countries and within seven years a third of the world's territory had been controlled by Britannia.

In 2017 of the imperial calendar, seven years have passed since the war of conquest of area 11 by Britannia, Britannia has rebuilt part of Tokyo as a residential area for Britannia citizens who will live in area 11 (Japan).
The clear blue sky dotted with wispy clouds signifies a sunny day and summer mood.
"This is alpha-3! Target moving from delta-13 to delta-14! Moving at 80 km/h! CCP to all units!"
The sound of reports continuously sounded in the sky of Tokyo accompanied by the sound of helicopter propellers turning.
"This is a video of the terrorist bombing in Osaka..."
News reporters continue to broadcast various kinds of terrorist news that occurred in area 11.
Meanwhile, a handsome, black-haired young man with a tall body and purple eyes, wearing a long-sleeved black school uniform, is currently sitting in a room with a middle-aged man who looks like a noble. He was accompanied by his friend who had blue hair and a slightly shorter body than him.
In front of them there was a table with a chess board on it.

The young man is Lelouch Lamperouge or Lelouch Vi Britannia who is the MC of Code Geas and his friend Rivalz.
As usual, Lelouch is currently gambling with the nobles of Britannia using chess. Chess is Lelouch's hobby, in chess he has only ever lost against his own brother, the second prince of Britannia, Schnizer El Britannia.

The chess game ended quickly with Lelouch winning. Walking out of the building, they heard the speech of the governor of area 11, the third prince of Britannia, Clovis La Britannia.
"To all my people! And of course, to all the Elevens who have collaborated with us! Don't you understand? Right now my heart is split in two!..." Prince Clovis said, pretending to look sad.
Lelouch and Rivalz got on their motorbike and rushed back to the academy when a truck sped up from behind and almost hit them, luckily the truck driver managed to avoid hitting Lelouch and Rivalz.

Avoiding hitting Lelouch and Rivalz, the truck hit the road divider and stopped.
This accident immediately attracted the attention of many people, but no one wanted to help and just watched from the side while taking photos.
Seeing this Lelouch immediately went to the truck to help.
"Hey, are you guys okay? Are you in there?" Lelouch shouted asking for the safety of the truck driver as he climbed the truck.

When the truck was speeding along the streets of the Britannia settlement, the helicopter immediately followed the truck from behind while shooting at the truck.
"They're calling the army! What now?" The truck driver said to a red-haired woman beside him.
"That's why I'm here," said the red-haired woman as she stood up and walked towards the back of the truck.
"We can take the subway line from the other route," Karen said to the truck driver as she took off her jacket and revealed the tight red clothes that clung to her slender body.
"Karen, come on, we can use that here," said the truck driver.
"No, it was suicide" Karen denied the truck driver's suggestion.
'That woman...' thought Lelouch when he recognized the identity of the red-haired woman who happened to walk past where he was hiding.
Karen immediately opened the box containing the Knightmare before riding it.
After entering the cockpit, Karen immediately shot down one of the helicopters chasing her before jumping out of the truck and covering the truck's escape.
"Damn, it's Knightmare.."
Seeing the Knightmare's sudden appearance, the pursuers were immediately shocked and tried to avoid the Knightmare's shots.
Karen's Knightmare swiftly passed while shooting down several more helicopters.
Seeing Karen continuing to shoot at the helicopter, the Britannian soldiers immediately took out their knightmares and attacked Karen.

At the same time, Noah was standing on a tall building not far from the accident site. Noah had just arrived in this world and was still collecting information about this world.
