Bab 148: I need your services

"I don't have all the time in the world.  The more we drag this; the possibility of losing her gets closer. If you were me, will you calm down in any way?" Without waiting for Beth's answer, he picked up his off and storm off the room. 

She let out a breath of relief, not believing being in the same room as Jack could be suffocating for her. She had always felt comfortable around him, and never thought, there was a day she was going to feel like being anywhere than being close to him.  Beth sighed and picked up her phone. She would need some strong alcohol to get the anger out of her system.

These days, the only thing that drives her was her anger towards Mia.  Without her anger, she was basically nothing.

The ride to a closer bar did nothing to calm her down, instead the more her phone stayed silent, the more it angered her.  Did Declan take her for a fool and decided to play tricks on her? She would know that soon.
