Nina took a sip of her coffee, "Do you know why Marissa is taking advantage of the situation?" she asked Valerie who didn't seem interested in her coffee anymore. But Nina didn't mind.

"This time she is more groomed and keeping her senses cool. The moment a person panics, he loses the victory that was once within his reach.

Last time Marissa lost, because we were not only well planned but confident while Marissa? She was underconfident.

This time she isn't that coward girl anymore, Valerie. So, let's accept it. If she is smart, then we need to be smarter," Nina poked the side of her forehead, pointing towards her brain.

Valerie watched the black liquid in her cup, "And how can we do that, Nina?"

Nina smiled and finished her coffee in a single chug.

"You are smart! Think of it, silly," Nina passed her a meaningful glance and raised a shoulder subtly. 

Valerie's eyes snapped up, "Do you mean… I should…"
