"Are you going to open the door or not?" Zaelek asked, snapping the man out of his thoughts.
"Of course," Akira gulped as he slowly pushed in the passcode and waited for a second.
DINGGG~
The door immediately opened. As expected, Asahi had not changed it. Akira didn't know if he should be happy about this or not.
He entered the doorway and switched the lights on. Suddenly, memories flooded into his mind as he looked at the nostalgic place.
Except for the layer of dust covering the place, it hadn't changed at all...
When the soft sunlight came in from the windows, lighting up the place with its gentle warmth, it was as if time had been stopped in this place.
Akira could clearly recall every scene in his life that he had spent at this apartment.
Akira looked down at the doorway and remembered how there would always be two pairs of shoes lying here, one neatly kept while the other had been carelessly taken off.
