She arrived, dressed in a dazzling red dress later at a certain banquet. Mr. Fu who arrived at the banquet hall saw her chatting lively with an unfamiliar man. He strode up to her and took her by the waist, whispering into her ear, "Are you making me a cuckold in public, Mrs. Fu?"
Bai Yu calmly pushed him away. "It's just typical socializing. Why are you so worried, Mr. Fu?"
Upset written all over his face, Mr. Fu took off his coat and covered her bareback. "No wearing skirts that short from now on. And who are these people at this banquet..."
The woman, fiddling with her fair fingers, lifted a brow. "Are you meddling with my affairs now, Mr. Fu?" The man's heart skipped a beat.

ahhh I'm expecting that the synopsis is as good as the whole content of story. so the ml fall in love with the FL beyond the contract unexpectedly😂😂
Everything was going fine up until chapter 13 😑. The author thought it would be great to use the 'let's drug the male lead and have him r@pe the female lead in anger' subplot. Great way to develop a healthy relationship based on trust and love. Look, it's not like I've never continued to read on a novel when this happens. I've just pretended like that never happened to comfort myself. But when you've been reading these novels for a while it really gets to you. Especially when the ML thinks back to that night thinking: 'While he was looking at her face streaming down with tears he found her as beautiful as a lily'. HOW TF IS THIS ROMANTIC?! (⋋▂⋌)凸 The ML is a tempermental man-child. His mood swings are so annoying. The FL has moments where she stands up for herself, so she's not entirely weak and helpless. However, she's not that smart either. Not sure how long it'll take her to figure out who she can really trust in the ML's family household. The rest of the novel involves the predictable messed up scheming family members etc. The ML is blind but he's going to see again and get back at his evil family. The FL has an evil sister. The usual. This novel was just too frustrating for me. I'm personally going to drop it 🤷🏽♀️.

The book is overall a great read, came tk read this because of the eye catching synopsis, and the content it self does not disappoint at all. Hope to see more chapters released soon. (Hoping for mass release!! ♥)
Pretty good story, the characters are relatable and not ones that are copy and paste all the same. I’m looking forward to the rest of the story.
This is based on 40 chapters. To gain power for their family, FL is forced by her family to marry ML. ML is blind & not taken serious by his family members so neither is FL. ML's family continues to scheme against him, including trying to gain FL's trust & use her against him. Since she really has no one on her side (with ML being cold towards her), you can't blame her for not realizing there are ulterior motives, though you can't help roll your eyes at time asking her to stop for a second. As for ML, because he has been betrayed by his lover & family members, his resistance towards her makes sense. However, that doesn't make it less annoying to read. (Also, at one point he's drugged & forces himself on FL.) There are many similar stories with better development so this one won't be one you will miss out on if you don't read.

NOt so fond of weak Male Leads. And the Female Lead is just as a pushover and pathetic like the ML. Also too stupid not to react on servants’ unruly attitude and understand that both of them are being bullied. Nah, it is not quite romantic.
Although the storyline almost the same as usual, it is still good. Character development is believable too. FL is practical and ML is insecure about his eyesight and therefore very cranky, which is quite irritating. I do want to know what happens next, so hoping this gets picked.
