Bab 80: One Word
Everything is coming together. Both teams are here, except Tenko, who's still unconscious. Rudy is surprised by both Alex and Meryna's emergence. Seeing them Rudy thoughts in his mind...
("Man, what the hell are they zombies?! Are we up against the zombie right now?! They wouldn't just die no matter how much I blast them!") Rudy, getting irritated uses his Unique to cover Melyna in Acetylene. But as fast as the lightning, she was in close range to Rudy before Rudy knew it.
Meanwhile, Eden's attack was blocked by Alex's shield. The shield that made from metal scrap as it is assembled to each other to make it the form of a shield. Eden's foot hasn't reached the ground, but he definitely feels it's going to collapse.
Second after, the ground indeed collapsed as the three fell on collapsed ground, Eden, Alex, and Derugo. The first one to get up after the ground collapses is Eden. When he opened his eyes, he thought he was in some kind of underground tunnel as he looked to the hallway with no ceiling.
("The wall is... Is the tunnel just being dug just now?") Derugo gets up after Eden, scolding Alex about the tunnel.
"I told you already! Make the tunnel a bit small! And also make the cover so it doesn't collapse!"
"Uuu... I'm sorry. This is the first time I dug a tunnel..." Hearing their conversation, Eden's target changed to Alex because he thinks his Unique is strong. So he sends Ying De to go after Alex. Ying De, comes out from Eden's clothes and moves at fast speed.
The doll gets up trying to protect Alex, but Ying De is able to evade them swiftly. Ying De jumps to Alex, revealing its sharp fang. Alex can't move in time. The tears almost out of his eyes as Ying De jumps at him. But, the sharp fangs have bitten someone else.
Derugo gets in Ying De's way. The arm has come out from the robe, revealing sharp black nails on each finger, Derugo takes the hit in Alex's place before fending Ying De off from his arm.
As Ying De hit the ground, some kind of small wood covered her long body in every direction from the ground. Binding her, Ying De wouldn't be able to move. Eden sees Ying De on the ground and, on impulse, charges forward to save her.
As Eden moved, some cable or rope tried to bind him from the wall and the ground. Soon to be cut by an invisible wind slash. In a spear-piercing stance, Eden is ready to stab Derugo who's in his way. The green aura manifests on the spear as he stabs Derugo.
Eden was surprised because it only takes an arm to block his attack. Derugo, slightly bleeding from Eden's spear. Second after, he grabs the spear and uppercuts Eden's abdomen, sending him to the sky. The strength was absurd, it sent Eden almost 60 meters from the ground.
Lu Baise, with its claw, grabbed Eden's arm as he fell. Thanks to that, the damage from Eden's fall was minimized as he fell on the roof of some building.

("This girl doesn't stop... She keeps coming and coming! How much energy she does have in her!") Rudy was panting from tiredness. He looked at Meryna, only sweating but no signs of fatigue. Only the creepy smile written on her face.
She keeps coming at Rudy, a slash of slash. A barrage of slash. While Rudy keeps blocking with his blue shield. Few missiles have fired toward Meryna. But, the missile was cut in half before it reached its target, which led to an explosion. Despite that, it only slightly damages Meryna.
She had to adapt to the missile's speed, the same goes for the explosion. Rudy, had come to an understanding... One word he has when he sees Meryna's corpse at the Ferris wheel.
"Immortality..." At the same time, Eden, dropped from the roof with the broken bone on his torso. Tenko, only just gets up with her head's bleeding. Meryna, has been surrounded by the three. Rudy, Eden, and Tenko.
Despite two of them having heavy injuries, they were no easy foe. Meryna herself knows that. But, she's confident, confident enough to defeat the three of them as the creepy smile gets bigger. Right here, right now.
Tenko charged at Meryna who had his eyes on Rudy. Tenko blinked, and Meryna was nowhere in her sight. She was in the air, right above Tenko. Before Tenko knew it, her joint was tied by the pink thread. The elbow, the knee, and her neck. After that...
*SNAP!*
All of her joints were snapped. The arm, and the legs, bend backward. But Tenko's neck isn't fully snapped. Tenko fell backwards, to Meryna. But the others were surprised by Meryna's raw strength. She was able to lift Tenko as Tenko's leg didn't touch the ground.
Using Tenko's body as a meat shield, she charged towards Rudy. Eden, sends Lu Baise to draw Meryna's attention. Flying in the air, from Lu Baise's perspective, he can only see Meryna's leg. Soon. Tenko's body leans a bit, he can see her body. The arm gets out of the way, the pupils stare right on Lu Baise's soul.
And then, out of nowhere, the dagger has cut one of Lu Baise's wings. The pink thread attached to the dagger's grip. Eden didn't expect it, Meryna was able to reach Lu Baise at that distance.
Eden sprinted towards Meryna, the huge green aura emanating from Eden's spear. As if he were to hold the big sword. Big enough it can reach the third floor of the building. Meryna has her eyes on Eden, but then, she can feel something piercing on her chest.
Rudy fires a fire beam from the prosthetic arms, then launches a huge amount of missiles on Meryna. But it wasn't contained with the gunpowder. Instead, it was filled with liquid nitrogen. Ice explosives that freeze her whole body.
"EAGLE CUT!" Eden, slashes Meryna in two as she is frozen by liquid nitrogen.
