Bab 43: Ji Family

Just as Mo Shan and Yun Xi were planning to go downstairs, Mother Mo and Father Mo called for them.

“Leave Yun Xi with me. I have something to talk to her.” Mother Mo told her son. Mo Shan was going to reject it, but Father Mo chided in. “Let the ladies talk. Come, I have something to tell you too. Moreover, my wife won’t eat your wife.” Since Father Mo had spoken, there was nothing Mo Shan could do. So, he followed after his father, leaving the ladies inside.

As you know, many socialites are invited to the party today. And, most of them like to act all high and mighty. So, when they will know your origin, they will surely try their best to bring you down.”
