Sharole shrugged, a scornful smile still on his face .

"Your words are ridiculous. A strong king can rule a strong country, but a strong country will never accept a weak king, and vice versa."

"If you had the power to defeat Siluop, would you want to become the king of a high-ranking kingdom?"

"You should remember, kingdoms that are not ancient kingdoms cannot survive and develop on their own. They all have to rely on stronger kingdoms, including high-ranking kingdoms."

"Look at the whole world, Rafos, have you seen any high-ranking kingdom that was not a vassal of an ancient kingdom?"

"There is a saying you should remember. People would rather be a noble in an ancient kingdom than the king of a high-ranking kingdom."

"Understand?!"

Rafos frowned. He felt that Sharole was insulting him. Indeed, he did not know much about the power structure of the outside world, however, that did not affect him.
