"First I'm not in your room but on the balcony. Second, it's not middle of the night but early morning," he replied.

His answer made Jade even more furious.

"It's not appropriate for you to come here like this. If your wife finds out she will think that I have invited you here," Jade turned her face away. Donovan smirked at her reply.

"Don't worry she won't. She already knows that I'm here. I don't hide such things from her," Donovan replied and Jade smiled sarcastically.

"Are you here to rub your best marriage life on my face?" She snapped at him.

"No," he shook his head.

Donovan observed the girl standing in front of him and could tell that she had lost quite a lot of weight. There were deep dark circles under her eyes indicating countless sleepless nights.

Donovan sighed seeing what she has done to her. But he didn't want to comment on that to make her feel more awkward.
