Bab 458: Mother's Lullaby

"Esme...Esme….. Help me….." 

Esme had drifted off searching for some herbs she was collecting, unbothered by Silja's absence, who was used to roaming around in the forest alone.

But the sudden call for help caught her off guard. The old witch looked around in a slight panic to find her precious disciples.

"Princess...?" she called loudly several times, but no reply came. Esme ran and traced the path she had followed but could find nothing.

The call for help also has yet to come back. Almost as if the first time she heard it was just an illusion.

Finally, she threw the herb basket on the ground and used her power to feel Silja's energy.

She frowned her eyebrows as she moved around. She followed the path Silja took and then stood in front of the same pathway Silja had entered.
