Her large brown eyes glared at him. She held so much power despite her having a small structure. Her dark black hair had already turned messy and some of it was falling on her face. Zivan looked at the woman for a few seconds speechlessly. So this was the reason he got all this beating for.

"It wasn't me who sent the proposal this time," he rolled his eyes.

"Don't lie to me," Marcella roared.

"I'm not lying it was lady Liliana who asked my hand for you to my brother," Zivan glared at the woman.

Marcella's hand, which was holding Zivan's shirt, froze and so did her face.

Marcella's eyes narrowed after a moment. Zivan looked at the girl who looked like she was betrayed and hurt. She looked very disappointed hearing his answer. Marcella pursed her lips tightly.
