His actions were very much speedy and Jade had no time to understand what to do.

After her the man himself sat behind her and one of his hands wrapped around Jade's waist. But instead of enduring there was nothing that she could do.

"Let's go," he said to his man and turned his horse and they went away the same way they came.

All the people in the street sighed in relief. At last they were saved but instead of them an innocent woman was going to be ravished by that beast.

Some of them felt guilty for Jade but most ignored it.

It was a regular occurrence for them and today was actually a good day Since no one died in Ragnot's hand.
