Bab 383: Barged In

After leaving the Castle, Jade reached a small inn located in a non-famous area of the city. 

She paid for a small room where she could rest for a night and think about everything in some peace.

She purposefully chose this place as she didn't want other people to know about her visiting the capital.

The inn was small and shabby; the room that was given to her was even smaller than her bathroom at her original home. 

"Can I get a meal please," she turned around and asked the middle-aged man who came to show her room.

"Sure," the man nodded with a warm smile.

"I'll have a brea-" 

"I'm sorry miss, we won't be able to customize your food. You have to accept the regular dishes we prepare," the man said with an apologetic smile.

"Alright, just send what you have," Jade nodded and turned around.

Jade frowned at the small bed and washed-out sheets. She first went to the bathroom which didn't please her either.
