"Mr. Jiang, please let him go," Ye Jingjing came to her senses and quickly begged for mercy.

"He brought this upon himself; no one else is to blame," Jiang Yuheng said coldly.

He had no more feelings for this woman.

"Mr. Jiang, we were in love once, isn't my pleading enough?" Ye Jingjing tried again.

"And now you bring this up? You betrayed me, hooked up with this man, even plotted to kidnap me, and now you're begging me—don't you find it shameless?" Jiang Yuheng said coldly.

Ye Jingjing had nothing to say.

She had thought she had good enough reasons for her actions.

But now that everything had come to light, she found her actions ridiculous.

Speaking such words now did indeed seem shameless.

"Mr. Jiang, I won't plead for him anymore, but could you please not call the police? I know I was wrong, and if you do, my life will be over," Ye Jingjing pleaded.

"Had you known this would happen, why did you do it in the first place?" Jiang Yuheng said coldly.
