Bab 53: The Meeting (2)

There were five prominent figures before us; I intensely recognized Christopher and I couldn't keep my eyes away from him, I despised him the most, I noticed the white-haired Captain of the Defenders playing a game of chess with a royally dressed old man on a table different from the main feast table that the other old men and Christopher were seated.

The other two were also similarly old men, one wore a heavy uniform with a jacket that he didn't put his hands in and it just hung from his shoulders and another was seated on a wooden chair right next to Christopher.

I could tell, just from the aura in this room and how close to suffocating it was that these people were dangerous.

"Aren't you two going to stop this tomfoolery and attend to the matter at hand!?" The man with the jacket hanging from his shoulders yelled.
