Lexine paused, shocked that he would actually accept. Then, she snickered. "Oh. Then, Taevlin, from now on, you are a fucking dolt. Repeat after me. 'I am a fucking dolt'."

"I am a fucking dolt." Taevlin immediately echoed her words.

Lexine blanched, shocked that he had actually repeated her words. "Are you feeling alright, Lord Taevlin?" She placed her hands on her sides, and looked up at Taevlin. "Is it the heat? I admit that it is a little hot, but that's not enough to take you down, is it Taevlin?"

Taevlin did not answer her for a few seconds, making it seem like he was seriously thinking of what to answer her. "If you are asking if I am doing well, then I suppose that you are no longer angry at me?"

Lexine cocked her brow slightly before finally shrugging her shoulders, "I guess I am not. Don't go around scaring people like that. Christana would have burnt you to a crisp. Here, help me up. The ground isn't as comfortable as that stone bench is."
